“I am a wife, a mom and a nurse. I can’t begin to express how much Hub City CrossFit has changed my life. When I first started, I really didn’t know if I could be committed enough to make the changes I needed to get healthy. But after I started, I couldn’t stop, because it didn’t take 2 hours to workout (like I had done over the years on a gym membership with yo-yo results). When I finished the short Workout of the Day (WOD), I felt I had really accomplished something that day. I guess I was addicted to the feeling of accomplishing something I knew was good for me. Cody and Tiffani are really awesome coaches – they have been patient, knowledgeable and gave me an extra push when I needed it. The diet seminars at HCCF helped me learn how to make better choices. At first, I was apprehensive about measuring up to the group WOD, but everyone faces different challenges with the WOD – now I enjoy the HCCF community, know everyone’s name, and am encouraged by other members. Since January of 2010, I have lost 30 pounds – by summer I was ready for a bikini! By fall, the jeans and sweats I had previously worn, just months before, literally would not fit! My husband, family and friends tell me they are so proud of me. The WOD are constantly changing and challenging, I never get bored! I couldn’t have done it without Cody and Tiffani and am forever grateful to them and proud to be a part of HCCF!”
