“Being in competitive sports during my school years helped me stay in excellent shape. After graduation, I ran daily for exercise. When I was young, I was involved in a motorcycle accident and I deal daily with the consequences of a fused ankle and arthritis. Thanks to Cody and Tiffani’s training and encouragement, I can jump rope and run again! This was after being told it would be painful and basically impossible to do. HCCF has been there to help me accomplish this and lose 50 plus pounds in one year with the CrossFit WODs. Cody and Tiffani modified the workouts so I could participate in the daily WODs and achieve results.
The workouts are quick and energizing, preparing me for a full day of dealing with students! I feel better than I have in years and look forward to the early morning workout.
A local gym was great with their sales pitch of all they offered in a 2-year membership contract. What they forgot to mention was that if I wanted to learn how to get in shape, it would require hiring a personal trainer on top of the monthly fee. I was trapped with a two year contract and no results were achieved. HCCF offers a free week of training with no sales pressure and your sore muscles will prove you can obtain results!
Thanks to Cody and Tiffani, I have trainers there all the time working with me to show proper form and how to use the weights at no additional charge.
The friendly atmosphere, work out buddies and encouragement at HCCF make me look forward to another great year. (and to losing that last 25 pounds)!!!!! Who knows… I might even accomplish real pushups and pull ups in the next year!”
